What makes this layout great?
“ Despite the small size, there’s plenty to enjoy at ‘Farbine Road’ and it has the perfect urban feel, with buildings and structures surrounding the railway on three sides. Mixing passenger and freight in such a small space can look crowded, but Neil and Sue have pulled it off excellently, allowing them to run a wide variety of stock in a small space. ”

Anyone who has worked in a job that requires them to answer the phone to customers knows that sometimes you’ll receive an odd request that leaves you wondering if you’ve heard the person correctly, or if they’ve got the right number. We don’t personally know any car salesmen to ask, but we’re pretty sure not many of them have answered the phone to the question ‘can we please come and have a look at a car to make sure that we can get a model railway in the back of it?’. That is, unless you happened to be at work when Neil Woodbine and his partner Sue were on the hunt for a new motor.
