Pick your perfect prime
There’s a range of focal lengths and mount options to ideally suit your camera
For full-frame cameras, a focal length of around 50mm gives a ‘standard’ viewing angle and perspective. There’s a variety of f/1.8 and f/1.4 competitors out there, the most popular being from Nikon and Sigma. Tamron sets its sights a little wider, with a 45mm f/1.8 lens that adds optical stabilization to fend off camera-shake.
