Tesco’s cafe in Oban was shut to customers on the afternoon of Tuesday September 11 so specialist contractors could investigate a blocked drain.
Rentokil was seen on site but a spokesperson for the supermarket chain said there were no reports of rodents and it was only a precautionary measure before the cafe opened again.
‘We take health and safety extremely seriously and as a precautionary measure asked specialist contractors to investigate a blocked drain issue,’ said the spokesperson.
