Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) is urging customers to be cautious around any damaged electrical networks.
ATher a member of the public cleared high voltage power lines from the road in the north of Scotland, SSEN asked all customers to stay clear of electrical damage. Martin Bowen, operational safety advisor at SSEN, commented on the matter saying: ‘We’d urge everyone to avoid approaching damaged or fallen power lines, keep at least five metres away, and report incidents immediately by calling us on 105.’
The 105 line is also available to report power cuts and SSEN’s Power Track app can also be used to report disruptions.
