A ‘SEA change’ of healthier cooking in all 10 of Calmac’s ferry canteens has been recognised by Scotland’s Healthy Living Awards.
With healthier living rarely out of the headlines, CalMac’s cooks and catering staff have been working away on new menu items, such as piri piri chicken and noodle pots, and making traditional favourites healthier with less salt, sugar and fat.
‘We are committed to promoting a choice of healthy options for our customers,’ said Gordon Smith, CalMac’s retail development manager.
