Half Marathon

A WELL-KNOWN runner from Kintyre was first past the post at the island’s 30th annual half marathon held in ideal weather conditions on August 6.

Kenneth Campbell from Campbeltown completed the race in 1:14:32, while his ‘wee toon’ colleague Stuart MacGeachy came second and finished the course in 1:18:11.

Coming in third was Arran athlete Elliot Sedman who breasted the tape in 1:19:27.
