Conel pensioner Ann Colhart’s distress after a planning mistake led to a house being built too close to her property prompted Jack Low to write: ‘any where else in britain the builder would have been made to pull it down’, while Margaret Menassa said: ‘If she was at fault it would be pulled down at her expense so why is it diffrent here’
