A82 needs concerted effort to improve

I am grateful for Donald Cameron’s letter (The Oban Times, September 15) about the A82, and I agree with much of what has been said about the need to improve this vital artery for the West Highlands.

Recent meetings with the Lochaber Transport Forum, Transport Minister Humza Yousaf and other groups have proved helpful, but it is clear – particularly on the subject of a link road at Fort William – that there is actually no agreement at this point in time on what the best course of action is.
