Bookend Festival a big hit with readers

A DRIECH day in Benderloch was lit up by the launch of the Bookends Festival on Saturday September 24.

Nearly 100 avid readers gathered at The Victory Hall to join together celebrating the written and spoken word.

The wood-lined hall has been transformed into a sumptuous reading space.

Everyone commented on the comfort and warmth as they settled into the deep sofas to read a newly discovered title or browse the many shelves crammed full of fiction and non-fiction for all ages.
