■ A COFFEE morning in the Plockton Inn in March has raised more than £400 for the village play area.

■ Eighty-year-old William Fraser received a presentation at the Kyle Free Church on April 2. The congregation wished to thank Mr Fraser for all the work he does for the church in Kyle and Plockton.

■ On a cold but dry morning, around 30 people attended the annual Easter Sunday open air service in Plockton, where Rev Roddie Rankin and Dave Mockett officiated.
