Residents are given a taste of Dawnfresh trout

AROUND 60 residents enjoyed a free tasting event last week when they sampled a range of food made from locally farmed trout produced by Dawnfresh Farming.

The event took place on Wednesday April 26, with people sampling a range of hot and cold smoked trout products prepared on site by Dawnfresh at Taynuilt Village Hall.

All of the trout on show was farmed from one of Dawnfresh’s nearby sites on Loch Etive. The company has five sites at different points in Loch Etive, from Port na Mine in the east to Ardchattan House in the west.
