Delight as Taynuilt Shinty Club ‘lands’ fish farm sponsor

AN ARGYLL shinty club has secured a new sponsorship deal with a local fish farm company to cover the cost of new strips and equipment as well as supporting club activities.

For the next three years, Taynuilt Shinty Club will be sponsored by Dawnfresh Farming, the largest producer of farmed trout in the UK. The company has four sites on Loch Etive, close to Taynuilt, and a number of staff grew up and live in the area. The agreement with Dawnfresh Farming means Taynuilt will be equipped with new strips and equipment for next year, with subsequent contributions being paid directly into club funds to help grow the club at all age levels. A new shirt design will be launched in the new year but will continue to feature Taynuilt’s traditional orange and black colour scheme.
