CAP greening report published

A common approach to sustainability and recommendations to inform future farming policy and mechanisms

THE FINAL report and recommendations of Professor Griggs CAP Greening Review Group have been published.

The report examines how future policy and support mechanisms could achieve environmentally and economically sustainable farming in Scotland.

Welcoming the report, Rural Economy Secretary Fergus Ewing said: ‘This report presents a common approach to sustainability and sets out a shared set of recommendations that take forward the debate in an evidence-based way, without glossing over the very real environmental challenges the farming sector faces.
