Organists' Review  |  June 2018
This issue is all about instruments rather than players. This last year has seen many major projects in the UK come to fruition but here we concentrate on two educational instruments – one at Newcastle University and the other at the Royal College of Music. Both are important in their own ways but they have been built for very different purposes.
Over in the Netherlands the Orgelpark has finished its latest major installation – a quasi-Baroque instrument (quasi as it is mostly a traditional mechanical instrument, but one which has been future-proofed). This brings their quota up to eight in one room.
Steven Grahl also returns to write about the IAO Music Festival which he has put together as the Artistic Director.
