Organists' Review  |  March 2020
The London Organ Day is fast approaching and as organists universally seem to enjoy the music of J.S. Bach, it made sense to make him the focus of this issue.
Tom Bell had recently read Judith Barger's book about Elizabeth Stirling so he recommended that we also ask her to write. Judith therefore contributed an article on female organ recitalists – if only the Society of Women Organists had been around in the 19th century.
As promised in the December issue, the story of the Atlantic City organ is now complete. Nathan Bryson is the current curator and he has brought it right up to the present.
Finally, before he takes time to come over to the IAO Music Festival, Dr Naji Hakim spoke with Simon Leach about his life and work.
