‘Most importantly, she no longer felt isolated.’ This quote perfectly encapsulates the work of Pain Association Scotland, this issue’s guest editors. They are a small but experienced charity that run both group and one-to-one self-management courses for chronic pain.
Phil Sizer (Lead Health & Wellbeing Coach at the Association) tells us the story of Martin, a group member who received a holistic approach for his pain. It’s revealed just what the ‘70% rule’ is, and how it can help stem self-admonishment.
