readers have been convinced enough by its Copilot+ PC initiative to say they want one… well, you’re in trouble. Even worse, 18% of people said they weren’t sure what Copilot+ PCs actually are.
“It feels like a marketing spin rather than a user benefit,” wrote Andrew Garnett on X. “Plus, we have been here before. For example, calling everything .net just to pretend you weren’t slightly late to the whole .com party.” Paul Roberts was equally decisive on Facebook. “Most AI is best done in the cloud, and I don’t have a need for the few use cases where it’s best done locally,” he wrote.
