There’s something suspiciously magical about the Cherry Xtrfy K33. First, most people will be absolutely convinced that they’re typing on a mechanical keyboard, such is the substantial “click” and depth of hit of each key, when it’s actually a membrane affair – Cherry calls these switches “Mem-chanical”. The trick here is that the keycaps are mounted on a plunger that hits the membrane layer, mimicking the feel of a mechanical switch. The second is the price, with the design and feature set going far beyond what you would expect for £40.
