The DOT is a statement piece, pure and simple. It comes in a variety of guises, with my sample being the pale green DOT 1970s. This throwback to 1970s Americana features low saturated case colours, deep contrasting black keys and pops of orange from the ESC key, all evoking the palettes of classic warm film stock. As someone who’s reviewed dozens of keyboards, this is the one that tugs on my heartstrings: I find myself looking back at it as I leave the room, I’m so smitten.
