COLOUR FRINGING
Lateral chromatic aberration can be an issue
Colour fringing caused by lateral chromatic aberration can be annoying, especially in architectural and landscape photography. It’s caused by different wavelengths of light focused at different points across a plane perpendicular to the path of light through the lens. It tends to be most noticeable around highcontrast edges of objects that are reproduced near the edges and corners of the image frame, such as dark tree branches against a bright sky.
