Ed’s Letter
Hello, and welcome to the new issue of Prog magazine. We’re dipping back to the late 80s this issue with cover stars Marillion as we celebrate their new, deluxe edition of 1989’s Seasons End album and the manner in which the band reinvented themselves after the Fish era. Some 34 years later, they’re in the rudest of health and still at the forefront of this wonderful genre of music, but when Steve ‘H’ Hogarth replaced Fish as frontman no one, least of all the band themselves, really knew what the future had in store. Dom Lawson’s revealing cover story over on p32 is a fascinating read. I think you’ll enjoy it.
