Finnish dark prog outfit Swallow The Sun are stepping into the light with their ninth album, Shining, which is out on October 18 through Century Media. Three years after the bleakness of Moonflowers, guitarist Juha Raivio says repeating that process “would kill me”, and so they’ve tapped up poporientated producer Dan Lancaster (Bring Me The Horizon, Muse, Blink 182) for a record that offers something that is “heavy, beautiful and refreshing”.
