WARNING: BOTTAS ADDS TO HAMILTON'S 2018 THREATS
We were quite critical of Valtteri Bottas after he failed to win the Brazilian Grand Prix from pole position, but his performance in Abu Dhabi was a fine riposte. All three of Bottas’s Formula 1 wins have come under pressure and last weekend he defeated – for the first time – Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton in a straight fight to take victory. The body language of the #44 W08 suggested Hamilton was trying pretty hard to take his tenth win of the year, but Bottas held firm. The big question now is, can Bottas put together a championship
challenge next season?
