Although Jon Davey’s is a name you might be unfamiliar with, he’s been in no fewer than 38 episodes of Doctor Who since 2005 – and on many of these occasions he’s been disguised as monsters invading Earth. “I’m very fortunate to have been in the mix for some time,” he says.

“THE HEAVIEST AND MOST RESTRICTIVE COSTUMES ARE THE CYBERMEN. THEY WEIGHED AROUND FOUR STONE.”
