Coastguard rescue teams from Kilchoan, Tobermory and Salen, along with Tobermory lifeboat, were mobilised on Sunday to rescue a sheepdog after it got stuck on a ledge on Sunday after falling 20ft down a clift on Ardnamurchan.
The alarm was raised at The Anchorage on the Ardnamurchan peninsula just after midday on Sunday.
The crew ferried the coastguards and their equipment ashore about two miles to the west of Kilchoan, where the coastguards carried out a textbook clift rescue of Meg the collie who was returned safe and well to her owner.
