ARDNAMURCHAN High School’s Katie MacGillivray may only be 12 years old, but she proved age is no barrier to talent when she won first place in the Springboard Future Chef competition local final at West Highland College last month.
Katie cooked a mouth-watering stuffed chicken breast with sweet potato chips and roasted tomatoes, followed by chocolate mousse with a tuile biscuit.
And today (Thursday) Kate will be competing against youngsters from all over the north of Scotland for a place at the national final in March.
