RESIDENT EVILCODE: VERONICA X
THE VIRUS MUTATES
DREAMCAST, PLAYSTATION 2, VARIOUS, 2001
Although Code Veronica was a sales success by Dreamcast standards, the game deserved a wider audience than Sega’s platform could afford it, so Capcom set about creating an updated version which was released for the Dreamcast in Japan and the PS2 worldwide. It’s largely the same game, with slightly improved visuals and about ten minutes of additional cutscenes that focus on the increasing popularity
of Albert Wesker. It also features an additional DVD called ‘Wesker’s Report’, which delves deeper into the shady character. It received an HD re-release in 2011.
