Graduating into the worst employment market for over a decade wasn’t one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, and with no job I ended up as a live-in carer at the university. It was only meant to be a temporary thing, but it ended up lasting six months – a long time to go without any home consoles. I greatly appreciated Sony’s efforts to provide a home-console experience on the go with the PSP at that time, but I had plenty of pockets of downtime during the day that didn’t exactly accommodate a God Of War session.
