Don’t get me wrong, I don’t actively avoid the franchise and I remember enjoying Batman Begins, but I think I’ve had some rotten luck – after all, Val Kilmer and George Clooney were the silver screen versions of Bruce Wayne that I grew up with, and the mediocre Mega Drive version of Batman Returns was my first videogame encounter with the caped crusader. However, when a friend was selling the first Mega Drive Batman game a little while ago, I had to go for it.
