Paperboy 2
A BIT OF BAD NEWS
» AMIGA » 1992 » MINDSCAPE One of the biggest problems I have with videogames is that when a successful one comes along, some person in a suit comes along and demands a new and updated version of the same thing – ideally by next Christmas. Of course, not every game is particularly wellsuited to updates and sequels, even if it was a success, but the suit-wearing people are often not involved in the creative process enough to recognise when that’s the case. In many ways, it’s not important so long as people can be persuaded to part with their hard-earned cash. That’s how sequels like Paperboy 2 come to be.
