Q My wife and I have always voted
Conservative and, although I didn’t agree with everything they’d done in the past 14 years, I still believed them to be preferable to Labour, so I voted for them again this year. However, my wife recently told me that she voted Labour and I’m completely shocked, as in the 45 years I’ve known her she’s never even mentioned that she felt any agreement with Labour’s policies whatsoever. I fundamentally disagree with her reasoning and it’s still causing a lot of arguments and it’s actually making me feel like she’s not the woman I thought she was. I know she has the right to vote whichever way she wants to, but I feel a bit blindsided by this and I’m struggling not to feel cross about her decision.
