He popularised the stage dive, received a Lifetime Achievement Grammy, and enjoyed a long friendship with David Bowie, and now punk icon Iggy Pop is performing two rare live shows this spring. Each evening will celebrate his six-decade-long career, from his work with The Stooges to his acclaimed solo discography. Known as the ‘godfather of punk’, the American musician, 77, has influenced artists such as The Smiths, Nirvana and Sex Pistols.
