Celebrity Traitors winner and national treasure Alan Carr somehow finds the time to present this rather fabulous travel podcast. It has all the Chatty Man trademarks – outrageous jokes, the naughty Carr giggle, and a roster of famous guests from Miranda Hart to Richard Armitage. Each episode sees a visitor arrive at Carr’s home to discuss their favourite destinations, travel nightmares, and celebrity sightings.
This is not a holiday advice show; the travel theme simply gives proceedings a loose structure. There’s a huge back catalogue of guests to choose from and Carr’s willingness to lay his own life bare tends to unbutton even the most uptight of them. His star turn on Celebrity Traitors means recent guests have included castle teammates Sir Stephen Fry, singer Cat Burns and actor Mark Bonnar.
