My aunt died recently and left her vast estate to my brother, who was her favourite. We knew for years this was her plan – she loved causing family strife – but my brother always reassured me he would share the inheritance when the time came. He has now gone back on his word and is keeping every penny for himself. I don’t want to fall out with him, but I feel incredibly let down.
