EPISODES 1.01-1.06 If music be the food of love then Cupid’s going to be piling on the pounds bingewatching Schmigadoon! This fantasy whimsy is not so much a pastiche of Hollywood’s Golden Era musicals as a loving homage.
Sure, it takes the mick out of their dodgier tropes with a woke 21st century eye, but it also knows the rules of musicals and plays by them, with intoxicating results.
