Now’sthe time to start, if you’ve been thinking you would like to hook up some gorgeous crocheted goodies for Christmas gifts but haven’t quite got around to it. While you don’t want to be hooking in a panic when you should be celebrating, crocheting in the lead-up to Christmas can be a wonderful way to spend your time. Think of it as a way to fit in a bit of relaxation – and you’ll be making gifts at the same time. It’s a win-win!
FIRST THINGS FIRST
Whether you can dedicate a lot of time to making or just a little, spending some time planning at the start of the process is well worth it. Ask yourself if you really want to make gifts, or is this the year you would prefer to crochet some decorations for your home? If that’s what you would like, don’t feel guilty about it – other people will love to see them. Take a look at our stunning monochrome designs on page 14 for inspiration.
