Chocolate and Peanut Butter Hummus

Spread on warm bread or drizzle over fruit!
INGREDIENTS
• 100g (3½oz) chickpeas
• 1 large banana
• 1 tbsp tahini
• 1 tbsp peanut butter
• 1 tbsp cacao powder
• 1 tbsp date syrup
• 2 tbsp cold water
METHOD
1 Blend the the chickpeas and banana with 1 tbsp of water until smooth. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth again.
2 If you want the chocolate houmous to be even more peanut buttery, just add another dollop into the mix.
3 Keep refrigerated and air tight (usually lasts 3-5 days but also freezes very well). Serve on toast (an ideal Nutella replacement) or mix into porridge or overnight oats. You can also add a large dollop into a banana smoothie to keep you going on a busy day or even heat it up as a sauce too.
