‘Portable’ is very much a relative term. Gozney describes the Tread as “the world’s most portable pizza oven”, but at 13.5kg you won’t exactly be swinging it around your head as you hike to the summit of Pen y Fan (particularly when you factor in the weight of the required gas canister). The temperature inside can reach 200°C in as little as 15mins, and there are various accessories available including a sturdy adjustable stand and protective bag, although they all cost extra. The oven itself is big enough to cook a 12in pizza, which should give you the energy needed for the trek back down the mountain.
