IN-EAR
True wireless earbuds are the most popular choice for listening to Phil Collins on the train to work. Which pair will you be discreetly jiggling into position?

BOWERS & WILKINS Pi8
B
owers & Wilkins has a phenomenal track record with wireless earbuds, at least as far as sound quality goes. The firm hasn’t always hit a bullseye on comfort, though – which is why they took advice from human body researchers for the Pi8 in-ears.
These sit at the upper end of the true-wireless spectrum and are an evolution of the Pi7 S2 model, with a thorough redesign meant to sit securely in a wider variety of ear shapes and sizes. These in-ears are much more comfortable to wear than the Pi7s – I happily kept them in for entire working days without needing to take a break.
