DAY 01
Sky’s streaming TV was delivered and set on our stand for us – we didn’t have to lift a finger. We’re told Sky engineers will usually be setting these up and getting you started, even though the whole thing is about Wi-Fi and doesn’t require you to spoil the lines of your house/palace/bunker with a satellite dish.
Our review model is a 43in unit in black (there are also 55in and 65in options), and the first thing we notice is the slab of integrated soundbar under the display, as well as a sizeable grille on top for the up-firing speakers. Nice, but our setup doesn’t get off to the best start: it can’t find the Wi-Fi and an update fails before working on the second attempt. But then we’re into the new Sky Glass interface, which is a total redesign of the Sky Q platform.
