EGYPT
Words by Chad Wilkinson
This month we’re off to Egypt; a country famed for its ancient curiosities - games included. Indeed, current evidence suggests that the ancient Egyptians are responsible for the very first games to exist.

It may not have had the longevity of Backgammon, but its prevalence for around two and a half thousand years is nothing to be sneered at.
