Teddy Bear Times Magazine Issue 253 Back Issue

Anyone who has moved house knows only too well what a stressful and chaotic time it can be - and just how long it takes to pack everything up ready for the move! My husband and I lived in a one-bedroomed flat when we were first married and when we moved, I couldn’t believe how much ‘stuff’ we had acquired in just three years. We’ve been in our present home for 30 years and I really can’t imagine what moving from here would be like now. Imagine, then, moving your bear family and business from one home to another. Sue Quinn has done just that recently and shares her story of moving fabrics, bears and all manner of creature comforts.
If you want to start collecting bears but can’t afford the auction prices of treasured old bruins such as Steiff or Chiltern, you may be interested to read the article by Jo McDonald of Vectis Auctions about the growing interest in toys ‘of living memory’. Affordable now, these will no doubt become the antique bruins of the future.
Whatever your beary taste, I am sure you will find some bears and critters that appeal to you in this issue. And if you don’t, please email and let me know what you would like to see more of. You can email editor@teddybeartimes.com or leave a message on our Facebook or Instagram pages.
