While in a train museum I was fascinated by how large the wheels were. But even more fascinating was a small scale display model built before the train construction was even attempted. It was complete with many details that had to be sorted before they could construct the actual train. It added to the justification of how important miniatures are in this world in many different ways.
Back in the day I was very private about my miniatures because no one understood my passion. Then I started selling my minis at shows and discovered so many like-minded people. Then I started sharing my work with DHM and AM.
