We take a look at a Hants & Dorset Bristol FLF6B, preserved for many years in Tilling green which has now been superbly returned to the poppy red livery worn during its declining years in service.

After many years in preservation, a Bristol L5G has finally made it onto our pages. Nick Larkin talks to owner Patrick Burnside about Eastern Counties LL711, which has been in his care for three decades.
Another long-term member of the preservation scene to grace us for the first time this month is a Plaxton Venturer-bodied Austin K8CVC mew to Scotts Greys to 1954.
BEA Routemaster RMA11 has recently joined the Southdown Historic Vehicle Group’s collection almost exactly 50 years following the type’s introduction. In the meantime this much-travelled bus has seen service with, amongst others, London Transport, Verwood Travel and Western Greyhound.
Private preservation in Hong Kong has only recently got under way. The very first vehicle that falls into this category has been completed. It is China Motor Bus Guy Arab MkV AD 4563. Our resident expert on Hong Kong buses JOHN G. LIDSTONE brings us the full story.
