LITTLE LINKS:
When David and I got together he told me about the miniatures he used to make as a leather specialist. I had no idea what he was talking about. Fed up with trying to explain to someone who thought doll’s houses were something small girls grew out of aged approximately 11 or 12, he took me to Miniatura and introduced me to the amazing world of small things.

I was stunned and hooked. David wanted to get back into making; I reckoned there must be something I could do too and so Criss Cross Miniatures was born. It took us a while to get going as we wanted our pieces to be unique and realistic. We found ourselves enjoying the background research needed; we still do. We took some of our pieces to a local miniatures shop who were quite dismissive, quite a blow to our confidence. So, we sought a second opinion from Wendy Hobday. She took one look and invited us to her show in Lyndhurst in the New Forest. That was 10 years ago this Spring.
