Edit Cinematic mode clips on your Mac
How to change focal points and depth of field blur in Cinematic mode footage

You can then use iOS iMovie to adjust the amount of background blur and change the focal points but this can be a fiddly operation on a small screen. With the release of macOS Monterey you can now perform the same Cinematic mode adjustments from the comfort of your Mac’s larger display as you cut clips together in iMovie. We’ll start by showing you a couple of ways to import Cinematic mode clips into macOS iMovie and then manually adjust them.
