Adding more keyboards
While many people choose to use external keyboards when working on an iPad to make it feel more like a MacBook, if you are content to use the default iPadOS on-screen keyboard, then there are plenty of hidden options and tricks that you may not be aware of. The iPad keyboard has evolved tremendously well and now you can achieve so much more from one typing position, such as not havingto press the shift button to type common symbols, such as ‘@’ and ‘&’. Then there’s the way in which you can move the keyboard to a new position on the screen, or reduce it down to a mini floating keyboard more akin to that on your iPhone where, like on your iPhone, you can employ iOS’s nifty ‘slide to type’ feature to speed up your typing (especially as you don’t need to add spaces).
