Although it hasn't had a new boxed set in some time, Blood Bowl's rules have been continually updated for more than a decade.
What’s new for this year’s Blood Bowl compared to previous versions of the game?
The most obvious thing that’s changed is the presentation. Blood Bowl hasn’t had a new boxed game edition since the mid-'90s, and while the board, miniatures and components were amazing for their time, we’ve come a long way in the last 20 years! So although the contents are very similar, the quality of what you’re getting has greatly increased. The plastic teams are more detailed and more varied, the rulebook looks beautiful, the board looks more realistic – our terrain team actually built and painted a pair of detailed 3D pitches, which were then photographed and tweaked digitally to produce the finished pitch.
