Teddy Bear Times Magazine Issue 270 Back Issue

It’s the little things that mean a lot. I have grown up knowing this phrase but I have only just discovered that Little Things Mean a Lot was a song recorded back in the 1950s by Kitty Kallen. It seems to me it is a rather appropriate theme for this issue of TBT & Friends. Teddy bears are often associated with kindness and caring, which is a wonderful thing in itself. To simply hug a teddy bear when we need to is a small gesture that can have huge benefits to the way we are feeling.
The theme of little things that mean a lot runs through the pages. Firstly, teddy bear artist Melissa Jayne makes pocket-sized bears that just love to be your traveling companion and Alex Chai’s little teds sit perfectly in the palm of your hand.
Nessa’s notes for this issue are all about the way in which tiny tweaks to a pattern can really change the appearance of a bear. All of her tips could make a huge difference to a relatively new bear maker. And when it comes to bear restoration, Dot Bird shares some of the less needy bears she has had the pleasure of welcoming to her Bear Hospital. Just a little bit of TLC made all the difference and meant a lot to the bear’s owner.
When it comes to little people, Charlie Bears have just released a brand new range called Bear & Me which is suitable from birth…to any age, of course! I hope you will enjoy discovering all of these things and more as you read through your magazine. It may be a small amount of your time but please be assured that your interest and support really does mean a lot to the TBT & Friends team.
