See the light with Lantana

Lantana Publishing is a new, dynamic publishing house with a small team and an exciting list of diverse and multicultural picture books for children.

‘I established Lantana Publishing in August 2014, and Caroline Godfrey came on board as codirector a couple of months later,’ said Alice Curry, whose specialism is international children’s literature. ‘Both of us – Caroline is a former English teacher – had seen first hand the vital role relevant, accessible books can play in the lives of children in the UK and further afield, particularly as a means of improving literacy, cognition and selfesteem in young readers. Dismayed by the lack of diverse books on the market, we decided to take matters into our own hands.’
